Aura is the AI trading coach inside TradeZap. It helps you review your recorded trades through individual trade analysis, conversational questions and weekly reports. It does not place orders, manage your brokerage account or promise trading returns.

Three ways to review your trading

  • AI Trade Analysis: review a completed manual or broker-imported trade and leave with one practical habit for your next trade.
  • Aura chat: ask about patterns in your recent journal, including strategies, timing and logged emotions.
  • Weekly AI reports: bring performance and decision patterns together for your weekly review.

This guide describes iOS 6.9. Compare Basic, Premium and Ultimate for current access; Android features and plans may differ.

What is AI Trade Analysis?

AI Trade Analysis, also called Aura Trade Review, starts with a completed trade already saved in your journal. Aura uses the recorded entry and exit, available price history and any decision context you add. The result is a concise lesson, supported observations and a next-trade habit you can actually practice.

The review works with the evidence available. A profitable trade is not automatically a good process, and a losing trade is not automatically a mistake. A score depends on sufficient evidence. Missing data is disclosed; charts depend on available underlying price history.

Can Aura review imported broker trades?

Yes. You can analyze an eligible completed broker trade without adding a strategy, emotions, stop loss or target. To make the review more personal, use the trade’s Strategy & emotions action to attach your playbook, entry and exit emotions, or decision notes. These reflections are optional.

Adding context before generation gives Aura more evidence to consider. Saved reports remain unchanged when you edit context later. Reopening a saved review does not consume another report allowance.

AI Trade Scanner and AI Trade Analysis do different jobs

The scanner helps you capture a trade: choose a screenshot of one filled order or closed trade, review the editable draft and confirm before saving. Analysis helps you review a completed trade that is already in your journal. Premium includes the scanner; Ultimate includes ongoing trade analysis.

For larger histories, use read-only broker sync from a supported connection. Available instruments, history and freshness vary by broker.

What can you ask Aura chat?

Start with a question you can check against your journal. For example:

  • How did my breakout trades compare with my pullback trades?
  • Which logged emotions appear most often in my losing trades?
  • What should I review about my entries and exits this week?

These are example questions, not claims about your results. Chat uses recent journal context, including available strategy tags, emotions and outcomes. It does not automatically analyze every historical trade or prove that a particular emotion caused a loss. Review the underlying trades before changing your process.

Build a weekly review habit

Ultimate’s weekly AI reports summarize available performance, strategy results and emotional patterns. Use the report to choose a small, observable behavior to review next week, then compare it with the trades you record. Our trading journal guide explains how to organize that review.
